I too was 'dentist phobic' prior to becoming a patient of Dr. Clifton’s. Initially when I expressed my fear of dentists due to a previous negative experience, Dr. Clifton took my fears into consideration and has always, for these past 35 years, been gentle in providing needed services. I love the fact that when I’m in the chair, I am his sole patient. His is not an office with several rooms in operation at a given time, which for me in the past has given me a sense of being juggled...as one among many (not a good feeling). Every service he’s performed has been superb in its caliber. I’d have to say he’s pretty meticulous in the service he provides. It’s a characteristic I truly appreciate. All of the above, in addition to no longer approaching a dental appointment with my previous trepidation

They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. Their office was nice and quiet. I was worried it would be overly loud but it was fine. Not only did they give me a local anesthetic to make sure I didn't feel any pain during my procedure, they paused every few minutes to make sure I was still comfortable and okay. I felt like they really cared about me. They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have.
