Had the procedure done in the Lebanon office, but was first seen in the Somerville office. The Somerville office is very busy and they seem overwhelmed. I originally called the Hillsborough office to schedule a consult. They scheduled me for Somerville without telling me it was Somerville. Drove all the way to Hillsborough only to have to drive over to Somerville. I asked why would they schedule me for Somerville (and not tell me) when I called Hillsborough. They tell me because Dr. X doesn't work out of Hillsborough. Well I never asked for Dr X!! Once I got to the Somerville office there were no apologies, just rushed in and out. They also had the wrong phone number in my records, which is why I didn't receive the appointment confirmation phone call, which would have clued me in the day before and not wasted my time. Mistakes are made, and I get that. However ownership of those mistakes and apologies are another. Apparently they have enough business to not care how rude and curt they treat the patients.

On to the billing. The woman from the Lebanon office was very nice and helpful with the billing. However, yet another miscommunication between offices. I was told I would need to bring a sizeable amount of money the day of surgery because my insurance didn't really do the pre-determination correctly. Well, ok that's insurance for you. The day of surgery I paid the amount requested. 2 days following the surgery, I get a call from the Somerville office telling me how much I need to bring the day of surgery (which was roughly half of what the Lebanon office told me). I told her she was a little late, the surgery had already been done. It's frustrating that I had to bring so much money up front when the other office gave me a much lower number. Now I will probably have to spend hours chasing down my refund.

The docs are great there, which is the only reason I'm giving 3.5 stars. 5 for the docs, and 2 for the Somerville staff for a solid 3.5, The surgery went very well, and the follow up care and home instructions were fine. The docs took the time to answer any questions we had, and they were very friendly and thorough, and most of all put me at ease. Would definitely recommend these doctors to someone who needs oral surgery. Steer clear of the Somerville office though, they are busy enough. The Lebanon office was much more laid back and friendly.

No, they've never taken personal calls with me
