Dr. Praeger was my primary doctor for several years but she proved to be grossly incompetent following my narcolepsy diagnosis. After placing me on what I found was an amount of Adderall sufficient for an elementary school child, when I told her the medication did not work (not high enough dosage) she first accused me of being an addict and then her literal suggested resolution for my sleep disorder was posed with the question "Have you ever tried playing a tambourine in the morning to stay awake?" I told her it was apparent she had virtually no knowledge of handling sleep disorder patients and I would not see her again and find a new doctor who was competent enough to handle my condition. Thankfully the new primary doctor I found had the brains to actually send me to a neurologist specializing in this disorder so I finally got the treatment I sought (and did not receive) after years of having Laura Praeger as my "doctor".
