I suffer from SEVERE dental anxiety-I get palpitations and teary eyed just making the appointment and when I do go I have anxiety attacks, nausea and vomiting and cry like a baby (I'm 48 & work in the medical field). I HATE going to the dentist, sadly I HAD to go. A friend said I should see Dr. Morton. I called to make the appointment-he answered the phone-I'm crying & he was so gentle and kind, very reassuring. On my 1st visit-I was a basket case (I would have refused to see me), but the entire staff was AWESOME!! Caring, considerate and very understanding of my feelings & needs. Dr. Morton and his staff were absolutely wonderful and could not have made my visit any better. They were non judgemental and were truly concerned about me. I have been back to the office since then and have received the same compassion as I did on my 1st visit. Don't get me wrong- I still have anxiety, but the doctor & staff have made it easier for me to go to the dentist a little more willingly (no nausea on my last visit). In fact I am going back this week ( I will keep the tissues handy). I give 4 stars & 2 thumbs up whole heartedly to Dr. Morton and his staff!!! Sharon McD.
