Dr. Mark Malterud has been serving the Saint Paul, MN area as a general dentist for nearly 30 years. Dr. Malterud is passionate about conservative, minimally invasive dentistry that preserves healthy teeth. They have some of the cleanest dental equipment I have ever seen. They make an extra effort to make sure they only use the best for their patients. I loved how gentle and careful they were while working on my teeth. My gums didn't bleed at all. When given anesthetic, Dr. Malterud administered it painlessly. Not only did I find a parking spot right away, but I knew my car was safe because the spots were designated and close to the entrance. They took the time to explain in detail the answers to my many questions, and reviewed my xrays with me. I'm usually somewhat sensitive to heat, so I was a little worried that their office would be too warm, but it was fine. I was very comfortable the entire time (althought they do provide heated blankets for clients that are cold.). Dr. Malterud and his staff saw me on an emergency basis, and took care of my situation right away. I am very pleased, and will refer friends and family.
