David F. Gitlin from the UMass Medical Center is a well known abuser of women patients, social workers, psychiatry residents and psychiatry attendings. He was out of control in the workplace; he engaged in constant scapegoating; he forced students up against the wall; he criticized doctors who called him at night for supervision; he worked closely with other violent psychiatrists who abused women; he stood by while Dr. Linda Peterson was battered and sustained injuries; he engaged in slander and intimidation. Gitlin interfered with whistle-blowing about sex trafficking sex offender Lewis E. Braverman and other violent doctors like Stephen M. Cohen and Gerald Steinberg. Terrible harm occurred to the whistle-blower including lost of home, income and family. Never go to a doctor or hospital alone.
