I had the same problem with misdiagnosis when it came to this doctor, which also caused me some problems later on. I don't know why he couldn't be more careful with a proper diagnosis. I also noticed that he seemed to be avoidant as this other person said and didn't want to deal with the tough issues. Another thing, he seemed to be fairly prejudiced towards women and was ready to write off what I said as exaggeration or hysteria when I was describing real situations. I felt he was somewhat emotionally distant and unwilling to actually engage in the difficulties I was presenting. So I would not recommend this doctor very highly.

Dr. Pollack tended to be friendly and made me feel at homel. However, he found it hard to discuss difficult topics and seemed very avoidant. He gave me an incorrect diagnosis and that caused me significant trouble later on in my treatment.. I wasn't impressed with that kind of inaccuracy at all. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Pollack to anyone. Everything I told him seemed to go in one ear and out the other, and he seemed to have made up his mind in advance. I didn't feel like he cared about what I had to say at all.
