Dr. Drake gave me the most thorough exam I have ever had. He thoroughly responded to all my questions and laid out a course of action with which I was very pleased. His staff is very friendly and capable. The exam rooms are very large, elminating that closed in, institutional feeling of most offices.

When I first found Dr. Drake, I thought we had a good dentist for our three kids. All the kids were fairly comfortable with him until today. My four year old would sometimes be a little resistant, but Dr. Drake was usually understanding. All that changed today. Today's appointments were for the two older children only. During the cleaning session for my first child, Dr. Drake came up to my 4 year old and asked to see his teeth. My son covered his mouth and whined against showing his teeth, since this was not an appt for him and he had not been mentally prepared for any examination. Dr. Drake just blew up and said "NO NO, you’re not yelling like that..." and then proceeded to grab him by the arm and pull him off the stool and kicked us out of the exam room. You cannot imagine the look of disbelief we got from the hygienist as this occurred. All of my kids are now traumatized and refuse to return there again. I will most likely have even more difficulty getting the 4 yr old to go to the dentist now. Unfortunately, Dr. Drake was not man enough to even face me after that to discuss the situation. But he knows who I am and I welcome any discussion. I almost called the police while in his office to press assault charges. Unbelievable!!!
