My understanding is that other patients of his are okay with his matter-of-fact manner and others just put up with him because they find Chase Brexton convenient. I found some of his comments degrading; for example, when I discovered that the nurse practitioner I saw might have prescribed me a medication that works for depression, but not PMDD, he said, "Well, that's what you get when you go to a Nurse Practitioner." I decided it was worth the time and out-of-pocket payments to go see someone else, especially because I could not get an appointment with the other psychiatrist at Chase Brexton. You might want to see for yourself if you're okay with going to him.
