Do not use this practice, their scheduling is atrocious. My children traveling 40 minutes for an appointment which they told me they needed to schedule 6 months ago. They arrived late, and the office told them they would need to reschedule 2 months in the future!. Don't waste your time and money with this outfit, they show very poor customer service, and it seems like it was ok for me to wait 30 minutes the last time I was there for my appointment to start, but they cancelled all 3 of my children's appointments when they were late, how absurd! I'm positive there are much better dental practices to use in Freeport, steer clear of this place!!

I had been a patient of FHN dental in freeport il since approx 2000. The only good dentist there is Dr Doak, which is booked out 3-5 months at a time. Its funny how they can take an xray and tell you basically, your mouth is a complete mess, but they cant 'fit you in'for MONTHS. I went there once to see a male dentist Dr.Mrza, and he once used a DIRTY MIRROR TOOL in my mouth. I had an open wound around my tooth, and my infection then got worse. I called the supervisor and they never returned my phonecalls.

My pain receptors are very , messed up, if you'd like to say. Im in my 20's , and have had many surgeries dental and otherwise, and I have a lot of nerve damage to my receptors in my body. ANYTIME I have asked for pain medication to help aide my toothache pain, they have been RUDE, to say the least, especially the one receptionist, saying 'well they arent going to give you ANYTHING "... Im sick of being treated like im some addict. There is a woman there who is heavier set with brown hair and glasses who doesnt even say goodbye at the end of a phonecall, and I hadnt even told her my name yet, and she basically scorned me telling me I wasnt going to 'get anything for pain' because Im pregnant... I then said' maam i didnt even tell you my NAME yet'... She was very, very rude.

I will not be looked upon as a pain pill addict, when I have 3 active cavities that are to the point of needing root canals, in my mouth. We have gone there for years and I have continued to be treated like PURE CRAP, because I ask for pain medication. There is no offense here to any of the physicians or dentists at FHN, just the receptionists who are so rude that have made my whole family switch dental care ALL TOGETHER.

Dr. Doak is amazing, and I feel bad that he has to work for such a terrible place.
