I live in Blue Island, and can appreciate having a Dentist that is certified and knowledeable about their treatment plans! Dr. Mark Anderson is great and has always made me feel comfortable. However, his front office staff continue to make unforgiving billing errors. It's unfortunate, that the front office staff doesn't take the time to become familiar with the insurance plans for their clients. I have contacted South Suburban Dental many times because I have been over charged for procedures that are covered by my plan at 100%. Additionally, I have been asked to pay a deductible for services that have also been covered at 100%. I am fully aware of my insurance coverage, and do not appreciate the over charges. For this reason, I will no longer be a client of South Suburban dental. It sucks because Dr Anderson is really great.

I've never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help me right when I need it. They have a huge staff that's very knowledgeable and qualified. They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here. It's always uncomfortable having to sit through a dental procedure when they use really cold or hot water to rinse your teeth, but they didn't do that here. They made sure that I was comfortable with the water's temperature. One thing I love about them, is that they're always willing to ask for other qualified professionals' advice when they don't have an answer for my question. I never have to worry about them giving me a wrong answer just because they weren't willing to ask for help.
