I was a bariatric bypass patient of Dr. Stoner’s in the early 1990’s. In all of my now 62 years of life I have NEVER met a kinder or more compassionate person, let alone a doctor. He ALWAYS made me feel like I was his only patient. He even drove to DesMoines one afternoon to be at an appointment at the University hospital there. I didn’t even know he was coming-and it was a 2 hour drive! I was one of his success stories-and I still weigh 125 pounds today! Thanks to him and his lovely nurse Karen!!
