Appoinment Review: My family and I recently relocated to Marianna and in an attempt to maintain continuity of dental care for my son, I contacted Dr. Saunders office on 10/2/2014 to establish a new patient appointment for him. I asked an individual who identified as Trina, if they were accepting new patients and she responded, "Yes, we have a few slots opened". Gave her my insurance information and after giving her the age of 17, she stated that they did not accept teenagers. However, Trina was still adamant that they did not accept teenagers after I informed her that I was referred to them by my insurance carrier, that this office was an approved vendor and that on Dr. Ben Saunders homepage there is an advertisement indicating the following: " Dental care for infants, children, teens and patients with special needs." Apparently, there is a huge discrepancy between policy and actually obtaining appointments, which in my opinion, contradicts professional integrity and ethics.
They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years. I was amazed at how wonderfully they treated each of their staff members. They were so appreciative and thankful. I've never seen any employer treat their staff better, and it made me want to come back that much more. It's always bugged me when other dentists' I've visited didn't take the time to really examine my teeth. I didn't encounter that here at all, they made an extra effort to inspect my teeth very thoroughly. When I left my appointment, my mouth felt cleaner than it's ever felt. They did such a fantastic job.
They're always able to answer simple questions over the phone. They only make me schedule appointments if necessary. They are so kind and caring, and they stay open way past their closing time to help anyone who needs them. They wouldn't deny anyone that needed help. I know I can always count on them. All the equipment at this office is state-of-the-art. I feel very safe here because I know it's safe and current. Not only did they give me a local anesthetic to make sure I didn't feel any pain during my procedure, they paused every few minutes to make sure I was still comfortable and okay. I felt like they really cared about me.
