New to town. My first time seeing this dentist. He did the exam and said I needed a crown and with no other info, expected me to schedule it. Really assumed I would just do it. Most dental policies don't cover this work - mine doesn't either. As I was scheduling it, I realized they were booking me for a deep cleaning too - root scaling and planning. Only because I asked, did I learn that this procedure is also very expensive and not covered by my insurance. I explained that I just do not have the money in my budget for these expenses right now. Maybe in 6 mos but for now I desperately need a basic cleaning. The dentist flat out refused a basic cleaning even when I told him that I would not come back. I don't even think this is ethical. He never explained to me why he was recommending this deeper cleaning. Just assumed I would blindly do whatever he recommended at any cost.

I've never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help me right when I need it. They have a huge staff that's very knowledgeable and qualified. They took the time to explain in detail plenty of techniques I could practice at home to prevent cavities and tooth decay. I was amazed at how wonderfully they treated each of their staff members. They were so appreciative and thankful. I've never seen any employer treat their staff better, and it made me want to come back that much more. I really appreciated that they let me rinse every so often during my dental procedure. I've been to other dentists that never let me rinse and its awful. I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of.
