Dr. Stites was my dentist for several years when I lived in Naples. When I first saw him, I told him that I alternated between a general dentist and a periodontist. He said there were no good period ontists in town. My mouth would bleed profusely during cleaning. I didn't know enough to know that this was a sign of periodontal disease but he should have. He pulled a tooth that didn't need to be pulled. These are only a couple of examples of things that should not have happened.
I found Dr. Stites office for my toddler when I was looking for an alternative to mainstream dentistry after a horrible experience combined with my new knowledge of remineralizing teeth. Although they don't typically treat toddlers they agreed to see what they could do. We drove an hour and a half to the office and are thankful everyday since that we did. Both my husband and myself were beyond impressed with the level of care and compassion that they gave our child. We've had 5 appointments overall and every time we leave with more respect than what we came in with. I have never felt so much trust for a doctor or his/her staff, nor have I ever met two greater professionals. I would recommend them to any in need of the best dentist and assistant.
