Dr. Robert Burton, in my case, misdiagnosed me and prescribed way too much medication.
I found out after many years of seeing him in his office three times a week per his recommendation. I made the mistake of trusting his kindness. He is very misleading.
Unfortunately, I trusted him and my friends witnessed my deterioration.
I would not recommend him for anything.

I never write bad reviews, but I have to say that I'm pretty disappointed in Dr. Burton. He is a very nice man, which is an important trait for psychiatrists. However, I feel rushed out after a few minutes of our time, and am still charged for a full hour. Once I told him I was feeling anxious and depressed, and in response he told me that we could talk about it more "next time" when we still had plenty of time left in our appointment. However, what finally drove me to write a bad review here is that it's been impossible to contact him. Even though this problem is likely to be a one-time issue, it's been unacceptable. He changed his phone number from his business card without informing me, and it took me a long time to track down his current number. When I finally did track down his number by calling my pharmacy, his voicemail message was that he would be out of town for a week and would not get back to his patients until then. That means that I'm going for nearly two weeks without my prescription, which is incredibly irresponsible of him to allow that to happen. I'm certainly switching to someone else.
