I took my child to this office Dr. Roy look at my son checked his ear, nose and throat with light and told me that he need a cat-scan. it hardly took 10 min of doctors time. We waited close to 1 hr before we get called then another 20 min for the doc to come to the room. OMG for this minor checkup they charged me $300. I told the staff that they have to claim to my insurance first then bill me. they said they don't do that since I haven't reached my deductible yet I have to pay now. then I asked her, Is this amount after discount? and she said discount is more that this. What the heck??? The lady was rude. I called up the insurance and they said some place they do charge first. They said after going through the claim and if the hospital charged me over what they should have charged me then they have to refund me. I am 100% sure they did over charge me. come on $300 for hardly spend 10 min to look nose, ear, and throat with light? They did not do anything else just this. In a regular check up doctor check more than this and they only charge 1/4 of this. I just want to warn you what to expect when you visit this ripoff place. Rude staff and long wait environment. Dr. Roy was not bad. If they going to make me sit there 1:30 min why did they give me an appointment that early?
