I agree that they overcharge. I have been a customer for 20 years and just recently got onto this. My last visit (and Ido mean my last visit), they charged me $179.00 for procedures I am now not sure I needed as I go every four months and have never had a cavity. I wrote the insurance and they say my out of pocket should have been $125.00. I'm convinced they oversell, overcharge, and overbook. I'm going somewhere else.

I have been going to Miami Lakes Dental for years and I just found out that they charge you UPFRONT for the procedures THEN bill the insurance company. What happens to the difference? I had work done for a few thousands dollars and paid it with my CareCredit only to find out by accident afterwards I had a CREDIT balance with the Dentist. WHY didn't they tell me this before I placed a good amount on the CareCredit account? This did not sit well with me and the fact that they charge you upfront their cost and then bill the insurance company. That's why I have Insurance - and they are my provider!!!!! I am now going to another dentist - which is GREAT. For the procdures I have done every three months she charges me $30.00 where Miami Lakes Dental charged me $118!

All I have to say is - Beware!!!!!
