I consider this the worst dentist i have ever seen. Upon entering, no one says anything. The front desk woman is usually on the phone and you just stand there not sure if you need to sign in somewhere or should just go sit down or what. Eventually you get told she'll be right with you, which means you get to wait another 20 minutes and then she asks your name and tells you to have a seat. Each time the wait was at least 1 hour, usually more. Once you get back there, Dr Hughes is EXTREMELY unprofessional and just plain rude. The last appt I had, I waited 1 hour for a teeth cleaning and once back in the exam room, he felt the need to try and discuss my personal life. Even after I was on the verge of tears and told him, "You are being very rude right now." he insisted he wasn't and kept going until I got up and just left without him even looking at my mouth. His staff also cut open my sister's mouth during a cleaning by accident, but didn't give her anything to take care of it with. She ended up with a seriously dangerous and painful staph infection. Horrible people, horrible service, horrible quality work from Dr. Hughes. Just an all around HORRIBLE dentist. I wouldn't go there for free.

I wish I would have read reviews on other sites before visiting this practice. I had to change dentists because of insurance reasons, and had to leave my dentist of 10 years. When I went in for my consultation, I barely saw Dr. Hughes EXCEPT for him to tell me that I had to get a deep cleaning that would cost ME $280. Hunh? I called my previous dentist and they were alarmed by that, and immediately looked at my records, and said that was not the case. I called Dr. Hughes office back and asked to just be scheduled to have a cleaning that I'm ENTITLED to with my insurance. They refused to schedule my FREE cleaning unless I had the $280 procedure. I called my insurance company and they were equally surprised that the dentist wouldn't let me have my cleaning that I am due for. I won't even go into my daughter's care, and how they missed TWO cavities that we have on record at the other dentist that have to be taken care of. I WILL PAY FULL PRICE AT MY PREVIOUS DENTIST BEFORE I SET FOOT IN THERE AGAIN. WHAT A SHAME, and WHAT A SHAM.
