I went to Dr. Levitt’s office for help with getting pregnant; this wasn’t just a routine visit. The staff is friendly but at this point, that’s the least of my worries; I wanted help. I was taken back right away for my temp, height, weight, ect., then waited a good 50 minutes to even be spoken to again (mind, you I was sitting off to the side, not back in the waiting room). I honestly think they forgot about me. I was then seen by a random nurse passing by and told to go wait in Dr. Levitt’s office, where I waited another 10 minutes, followed by him coming in without greeting me, finished up some paperwork for a bit (which was a bit awkward since he hadn’t even said hello and was discussing patients with me in the room), then I waited another 5-6 minutes for him to warm up his laptop before we could even begin. He asked health related questions for about 45 minutes, then I had a routine PAP. They told me how to chart my basal temps and told me to come back in 2 weeks for bloodwork and to turn in my chart. Never got my PAP results. Went in for bloodwork and had to ask for my PAP results, which the response was “uhhh, okay, let me go get them. …Okay, yeah your normal.” Okay, that’s great, but no other explanation than that.
Then I asked about turning in my temp chart, and she said “I mean, I guess I can make a copy of it if you want?” She did, and I have no idea if that got to the Dr. or not, because I NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN. I called about 3 weeks later for my results, and was told she would check and call me back. I got a phone call at 9:30pm, which I did not answer as I didn’t recognize the number and what dr office calls that late? I had called a good 12 hours before. I think she just forgot about me, again. She left a message and said she’d call me again in the morning. She didn’t. I waited another 3 weeks (because, yes, I’m stubborn and was thinking no news is good news, so let them call me). I finally got fed up and called, and I was wrong. My progesterone levels were low, and I needed follow up testing. Pretty time sensitive material and information I could’ve used 6 weeks before. Needless to say, I will never be back there and certainly won’t recommend them to anyone I know.
