Whenever I have a question, even if it's very basic, they always make me schedule an appointment, which is extremely frustrating. I got an appointment quickly. I've never had to wait too long. I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of. They were extremely argumentative and became angry very easily. I was trying to explain my situation and they just contradicted everything I was saying before I could finish. They consistently dismiss my concerns and accuse me of making problems up. I don't trust them to ever actually look into my concerns and see if they're valid.I really had a great experience in this office until recently. When I saw Dr. Goldsmith for normal routine paps everything was fine. In 2010, I got pregnant with twins. He said he could handle twin pregnancies and everything was fine. I started experiencing first trimester bleeding and I asked if I should be going to a specialist and he said no. Finally, after bleeding up to about 12 weeks, he did a full blood panel work up and found that I had three clotting disorders and then referred me to Dr. Larson. Once I saw Larson, it was too late and the placenta wasn't able to attach fully because of the blood clots. I then delivered still born girls at 21 weeks 5 days. Had I been referred sooner, we would have been able to save them. Since my intentions were to get pregnant immediately following, Larson continued to see me and give me medications to treat my condition so that I could get pregnant again. I successfully carried a baby boy to term. I then got pregnant again soon after and saw Larson which helped me successfully carry a baby girl to term. I then went back to Goldsmith since I also have PCOS and expected to be helped like every other time I had visited. Unfortunately, that was not the case. He came in and did the exam but there was an awkwardness. When he told me to get dressed and he came back in he very quickly told me that there was nothing wrong with me at all and I was fine. I was very taken back by that because I was in pain and new that I had new cysts that had developed. Dr. Goldsmith then proceeded to tell me that he was uncomfortable with me because I went to see Larson for my pregnancies. He repeated how uncomfortable it was to see me over and over. He had no intention of telling me that day that anything was actually wrong because he didn't want me to come back because apparently his feelings were too hurt that I saw another doctor. However, he is the one that referred me to the specialist in the first place! I have never felt so violated. If you had no intention of treating me, then don't do an exam and certainly don't charge me for it. Needless to say, with the inappropriateness of the appointment, I will not be returning.

Dr. Goldsmith handled my prenatal care and I had a terrible experience! He and his staff missed informing me about critical issues, such as my blood work showing extreme anemia (even though I'd been telling him I was experiencing scary spells of near-fainting - it was brushed aside as typical pregnancy symptoms). A nurse caught it several weeks later and informed me, but by that time my levels were so dangerously low I was in danger of suffering serious complications! I also experienced long waits, was rushed in and out, barely listened and/or took the time to address my questions and concerns. My husband felt they treated me like a piece of meat, barely talking to me before poking and prodding. He also kept pushing for me to sign up for an epidural, even though I told him I preferred a natural birth. I ended up delivering my baby at Covenant Birth Center instead (amazing experience there). I came back to Dr. Goldsmith to repeat a very important pap/colpo since I have had cancer and he is the only OBGYN I'm familiar with in the area. For some reason he did not keep up these tests while I was pregnant so I'm very anxious to be tested. I made an appointment and my husband and I loaded up our newborn and drove over an hour to his office. He left me sitting in the office room for a long time before storming in and refusing to do my test! He told me he was offended I delivered at a birth center and he didn't want to treat me because I was "bouncing doctors". He was so rude and nasty it caught me off guard! My sweet southern gentlemen of a husband could see I was shaken up when I came out and went back in to talk to him and his staff. My husband came out shocked at how rude and threatening he was! I've never heard of a doctor with such poor demeanor! He could have handled this in a polite manner. Who treats a new mom like a piece of garbage?! Ladies, I recommend you go elsewhere to an OBGYN that respects your concerns, takes the time to address them - and doesn't treat you with disrespect!
