RUN DO NOT WALK from this doctor. And then when you give him or his sister a bad review they will retaliate when you need records. PSSST. You do not need Dr Carr to get those, call Physicians Health direct, you can go to their office off of Orange and pick them up yourself. The doctors office will say they come "from out of state". A LIE. After 13 times of filling out the form we finally got them by going around this horrible doctor. BTW, I WOULD BE DEAD if I had not sought a second opinion. Dr. Carr gave me a routine blood test for Lyme, which I had for over 6 years and it had started hiding as a round body in my blood. Took almost 3 years to cure it with natural herbs after Carr scratched his butt not knowing what to do with my chronic joint pain.
HORRIBLE doctor. Has not compassion or passion for this profession, his sister is just as bad but I won't go into that here. herd you in and out as fast as possible, check please.

I must agree with some of the negative comments about Dr. Carr's staff. On three occasions in the last six months they have not handled themselves in a professional manner, and a few weeks ago their non-professionalism escalated to a confrontational one! The all-female staff became quickly angry with my husband, after they insisted that he had cancelled his appointment for that morning, and he explained that he had not cancelled his appointment for that morning. I watched in disbelief for three minutes, as the three young office staff worked themselves into a tizzy. One of them, the pregnant office manager, got herself so upset that she threw open the door to the back offices and shouted "get out" as she jutted her belly within an inch of my husband! I have never seen such an unprofessional display at a physician’s office.

On more than one occasion, Dr. Carr's staff has muddled up our appointments and caused both my husband and I to unnecessarily miss work. Each time, it was insinuated by the staff that it was one of US who had made a mistake. We have also been charged us a fee for supposedly changing or cancelling an appointment incorrectly (although the rules were inconsistent; they kept changing depending on which staff member we spoke to). Based on the staff's overboard reaction to my husband a few weeks ago, this appears to be an ongoing problem at this office and they probably don't know how to fix it, or aren't getting any support to help fix it. Any attention you may bring to their faulty appointment system would probably just pour salt in the staff's wounds.

By the same token, both Jeffrey Carr and his wife Deanna Carr are just average doctors (in my opinion), and don't inspire me to battle past the office staff's problems in order to be doctored by them. They seem to treat your illnesses with only common sense recommendations that your grandmother has told you a million times. There is no "above and beyond" to their diagnosis, ever. For example, my husband was going to Jeffrey Carr for diabetes, and Dr. Carr told him to lose weight. That's it: lose weight. It took Dr. Carr six months to send my husband to a diabetes specialist (where he now has his blood sugar correct, finally). For myself, the last time I went to Deanna Carr was for my recurring swelling ankles, and her recommendation was to "fidget my feet more during the day."

If you feel the need to pay a doctor for some grandmotherly advice, and if you have a lot of time on your hands to deal with their office staff's faulty appointment system, these are the doctors for you! But if your time is valuable and you need real medical attention, I would avoid both Dr. Jeffrey Carr and Dr. Deanna Carr. As for my husband and I, we will not be going back to them.
