I believe everyone should make informed decisions and that is one reason I am writing this review. I have been under Dr. Frederick Schaerf's care for many years. He has a practice in Ft. Myers, FL, in a lovely office, off of Metropolis. The professionals that work with him are highly qualified and knowledgeable in psychiatry.
Dr. Schaerf is a neuropsychiatrist and has earned accolades from his patients and fellow professionals. He is also known in the community for his works as a Forensic Psychiatrist. His practice is based on the ethical and moral standards he himself has set from his teachings at Johns Hopkins, a world renowned university. Dr. Schaerf stands by these codes as a Doctor and an individual. I have the utmost respect for him and his entire practice. I know from personal experience that Dr. Schaerf is a brilliant, caring and respectful doctor.
I will be forever grateful for the care he has provided for me and my family. I am a better and stronger person today because of the unprecedented psychiatric guidance I have received from him.
Dr. Schaerf is also the founder of the leading Alzheimer's Research Clinic in SWFL.
When I had given up on myself he continued to believe in my future, that of which I owe to him.

I suppose for some people the waiting room, parking lot etc. are important, but I am a patient that wants a doctor and staff with first rate educations, experience, and a consistent curiosity about their field. The entire staff at this office exceeds in all of these. In a rapidly changing field of medicine, staying on top of the research and developments is considered a high priority by this office. Being able to communicate technical information efficiently and sincerely inspires confidence and allows a patient to help the doctors and clinician do the kind of fine tuning often needed. If you want the best in South Florida, you will find it here. And they will stick with you.
