He’s a nice person but failed me when I needed him. My daughter had chronic ear infections (and eventually had her tonsils pulled and ear tubes put in). When I traveled with another family in their van to NC, I called him to prescribe antibiotics. He refused and told me to go to a doctor there. So I imposed on this family and we found a dr in Franklin. He was holistic and said to just run a hot shower and let the steam ease her pain. Upon returning to FL I visited Dr. Eason and he indeed said she had ear infections. He said there could have been spinal meningitis and so she needed to be seen by a dr. Mind you my child had been to him 26 times over a 2 year period with numberous diagnoses of ear infections. He let me down when I needed him. I did change drs.

Dr Eason is very nice and kind, and I like him as a person, however I don't feel like he is very thorough or concerned when it comes to my son's issues. When I express my concerns as to what is causing these issues, he's very dismissive and doesn't seem willing to find out if there are underlying causes of my sons symptoms. It's very frustrating. He has said more than once about how parents are always looking for someone or something to blame for their children's autism and I found that insulting as I know most of us out there are looking for causes and solutions and something that can help them. I'm not trying to place blame on anything or anyone I just want to rule out any other possibilities causes for my son to be feeling as bad as he does.
