Dr. Butler was assigned to me by a Mental Health Care / Substance Abuse Facility. Dr. Butler was supposed to have given me an evaluation within a few hours of arriving at the facility. Instead he didn't see me until over 24 hours later and then only spoke to me in front of the other patients to do his initial evaluation. He was good while leading the daily help meetings. I do feel that his lack of personal attention and assumption for patient care was not based on his own observation but based on a 3rd party accusations who was a vindictive ex-husband. I don't feel that a 3 minute public evaluation holds any value to patient care. I do believe that he was motivated financial gain. He did not want to listen to or discuss with me my own situation, yet made judgments based on what information a 3rd party gave to him. When I tried to explain my circumstance, I was promptly dismissed. I felt that as a patient he was not respectful of me nor of my privacy. I saw this doctor 2 times before I left the facility.
