I've never had such a bad experience at a doctor's office. I went to see Dr. Castellvi after being referred to him due to severe back pain. After looking at X-rays, the doctor informed me that I had a spinal fracture and he recommended surgery. I said I would like to avoid surgery due to my age (almost 90). His tone immediately changed and he said "I'm a surgeon, I don't hand out pills. If you want pain pills, get them from your own doctor!" As he was saying this, he walked out of the room. I'm not a fan of pain pills either, but he could've been a little more helpful and talked to me about other options such as physical therapy, what activities I should or should not do, should I wear a brace, etc. Instead, I got the feeling he was totally disinterested once he figured out I wasn't going to be generating any more revenue for him since I didn't want to have surgery. It's been a few days since my visit, and it's still bothering me how rude and unprofessional Dr. Castellvi was.

Not really, it wasn't very clean
