Will never go back here again. The dentist we used to see at Tuscany Dental left to expand his orthodontic practise, and my husband and I were assigned to the new dentist. He was rude and arrogant right from the start - not only to me, but to the office staff as well. I had been going to Tuscany Dental the last few years for quarterly cleanings and at my last appointment (which was just three months ago) my old dentist said my teeth looked great and keep up whatever I was doing. The newly assigned dentist right off the bat, after poking in my mouth for less than two minutes, told me I had three small cavaties and that I would need some sort of dental procedure which required some sort of equipment that the current dental office would not order for him. No x-rays, nothing! I told him I wanted a second opinion and he then became extremely rude. I aked him if I was seeing my old dentist regularly, then why he didnt notice the same things? The Prima Dona dentist then bad mouthed my old dentist and ended up telling me "thats why hes not here!" This was the first time I ever walked out of an appointement -ever! The guy was a piece of work and my family will never go back there again.
I was hoping for some advice about how I could prevent tooth decay at home, but they didn't give me any. When comparing them to others in their field, I would say they are by far the worst I have ever seen. I will never return. They aren't known for being that good at what they do in my area, but they aren't known for being terrible either. They should probably work on improving their professional reputation. The restrooms here weren't that clean, but they weren't out-of-control disgusting. I didn't mind using them but would have preferred a cleaner facility. Their office was nice and quiet. I was worried it would be overly loud but it was fine.
Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort. If I couldn't find anyone better, I'd return again, but I'm hoping I can find better service somewhere else. My appointment felt a little rushed. I understand that they are busy, but I would have liked a little more time.
