I had been a patient of Dr. Dow's from 1988 until 1993, when I gave birth to a child with a craniofacial anomaly. I was overcome with postpartum depression, and tried repeatedly to reach Dr. Dow to schedule an appointment. I left message after message after message.
Finally, Dr. Dow left an angry, rude message on my answering machine:
"If you wish to speak with me, call my office and schedule an appointment"!
REALLY!?!??!
A shrink would speak that way to a patient with known self-esteem issues?!?!???
My advice: STAY A MILLION OR MORE MILES AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR!!!
