Tried to make a consultation appointment to see about switching to Dr. Ortiz from a Neurologist out of town. Was told by his staff that their office 1) does not give consultations, your 1st appointment with him would be your new patient appointment. 2) Does not "go behind" other neurologist meaning he will not take you if you have previously seen another neurologist in town (I asked for clarification on the "go behind" rule) and 3)Does not give 2nd opinions.

So, I am not sure I am willing to trust a doctor's office so full of themselves and make me feel like I am someone's sloppy seconds when all I am trying to do is trying to find the right fit of doctor for me and be able to trust them to take care of me.
