Dr. Beste has been my personal and family physician for at least 20 years. Throughout all of these years I have liked and respected him. As my medical conditions have worsened over the last 2 years, leading to 2 open-heart surgeries, he has become an even more important role in my life, as he works between my heart surgeon and cardiologist, helping them reach agreement when there have been conflicts. He has been very successful in this role, in addition to dealing with me in a more "whole body" way. As for his staff, they are nothing short of wonderful and extremely caring. My blood pressure, in fact, tends to go DOWN the longer I am in his office, and that is due to both Dr. Beste and his staff. He is flexible in emergencies, will see you quickly when something comes up with you or your family. My only complaint, and in no way is this specific to Dr. Beste, is that in this age of computer focused care giving the practitioners need to spend alot of time staring at their screens while they are with you. There are advantages to this new system, like reports being available immediately as you go back to the front desk, but there is a slight loss of "face time". This is the way of the world, though, and it cannot be helped. Dr. Beste is a cheerful, pleasant man, who truly listens to what you are saying. I would recommend him with no exception.His parking lot is wholly adequate, and there is a ramp for those with walking issues. Dr. Beste offers a degree of care that has become more infrequently available, and when you are with him and your family he really becomes for you and yours a true "family" doctor.
