I am truly surprised at these reviews. I recently went to Dr. Schambeau, (recommended by my daughter who is a new patient of his) after a tooth started hurting that another dentist had just put a crown on it. Come to find out, I now needed a root canal and another crown in order to fix what the other dentist screwed up. Dr. Schambeau's staff, from the front desk to the hygienist to his assistant could not have been more friendly or professional. During my root canal procedure Dr. Schambeau and his staff were very attentive and concerned about my comfort. At no time did I feel they were rushing to get through and on to the next patient. As a matter of fact, my procedure took about 2 1/2 hours. I have only been to this office twice, and have never had to wait. I have been taken in almost immediately upon arrival. My daughter had a similar experience with Dr. Schambeau and his staff. Due to our experiences with them, my husband has also started going to Dr. Schambeau. After my own experience with them, it is hard for me to believe some of these reviews.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY GOING HERE!!! THEY ARE NOTHING BUT CROOKS! I felt very rushed. They barely spent two minutes with me and almost completely ignored me. I would never refer any of my family and friends to go here. If I had know how terrible they were I never would have gone. Every time I come in for an appointment, and throughout the appointment, I'm always having to remind them who I am and what my circumstances are. It's very frustrating. They didn't explain my dental procedure to me at all, even after I asked for an explanation. I was very nervous about having a procedure done that I didn't know anything about. Also everything is about money. I took my 7yr old son for a simple clean up, and they immediately said he needed over 8,000.00 worth of work in his mouth! Not only that I was pregnant with my third child and Dr. Shambeau himself said he could not clean my mouth until I had x-rays taken, I told him I was pregnant and could not have and x-ray done and he insisted it would not be a problem.
When I was discussing it with the receptionist she hinted that the money hog is the Dr. Shambeau's WIFE!!
