I really like Women's Healthcare Associates, but I very much dislike Dr. Snyder and likely will not return to WHCA because of her. It's a shame because I like all the other doctors, but I can't take the chance on having Dr. Snyder be on duty when I deliver my next child. I had a bad experience with Dr. Snyder at the first prenatal appt I had with her. She didn't seem to care at all about the concerns I had - acted annoyed and rushed answering my questions and did not answer them well at all. So we didn't get off to a good start - and I avoided any other appts with her the rest of my pregnancy. Then of course she was on duty the night I went in to get induced. My baby's heart tones were raising some concerns - but she blew it out of proportion and had me completely freaked out and thinking I was going to have to have a c-section. Thank goodness a new doctor came on duty the next morning and completely changed things around - calmed me and reassured me that everything was going to be okay and that I could have a natural birth - which I did. If Dr. Snyder would have stayed on, I'm convinced she would have ordered an unnecessary c-section. She was the doctor who had to follow up with me two days after my delivery and was "so surprised" I had a vaginal birth. I do not recommend Dr. Snyder at all - and I've seen many negative reviews about her on other sites - including one serious incident.

Dr. Snyder is always very kind and open. She cares about her patients and takes the time to explain things and check in. She is intelligent and not afraid to refer to another MD if needed. I trust her completely.
