Dr. Altenau is an expert in his field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. I have had two successful surgeries by Dr. Altenau. Cervical fusion and spinal fusion. I am perfectly pleased with his expertise, and thankful for the great job he did for me, leaving me to have a good rest of my life. Dr. Altenau is clear, understands the problem and always remembers me and my health issues. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but I never mind, as when it is my turn, he NEVER hurries. You get as much of his time as is needed. This is rare these days. I was very comfortable with my decision to have surgery, and now, so glad I did have it. It is professional, personalized doctoring, NOT a mill like some offices.
