This doctor was very impatient and rushed me through my exam. I felt she was in a bad mood and just wanted to get rid of me. She also gave me a bad referral. I understand the waiting room was very crowded, but she was unnecessarily rude. Also, in spite of being very busy, she seemed to have time to joke and laugh with her staff. I felt like she couldn't care less about my medical problem. Ugh!

I went to this doctor a few years ago and after 2 visits have never gone back. I asked her questions, to which she did not listen; she referred me to a specialist who was very far away from my residence even though I SPECIFICALLY ASKED HER for someone more local. She nagged me about my weight even though she herself was heavy. She was very rough when giving me a breast exam (I would've expected something better from another woman, but I guess not)! Finally, while she was prescribing meds for my anxiety and panic disorder, she felt it appropriate to recommend that I attend her fundamentalist church (Oasis Church on Wilshire, they are very conservative). As a MEDICAL DOCTOR she ought to be aware that religion does NOT cure illnesses. I thought this was very presumptuous and obnoxious. Discussion of Christianity does NOT belong in the medical exam room. I later described this experience to my Christian psychotherapist, who was appalled (and my therapist, again, is a Christian). I would never recommend anyone to this doctor, and I have learned that when it comes to doctors, females are NOT necessarily more compassionate. Dr. Bailey may be knowledgeable about medicine, but her people skills are either lacking, or she just didn't like me. The feeling is mutual.
