Dr. Cooper is OK, but doesn't really seem interested in his patients, which includes the 4 members of our family. We only go in every few years, and then only if we have a problem which lasts more than 2 weeks. He immediately downplays whatever it is, and almost seems to jump to a conclusion. He's probably trying to put us at ease, but it almost feels like we're thought to be over reacting. We avoid visiting. I understand he's not the warm fuzzy type, and doesn't smile. We normally see the Nurse Practitioners, who are excellent, very kind and knowledgeable, and the reason we've stayed with this practice.

This doctor was my GP for years because there wasn't anyone else that I could go to with my insurance. I can tell that he has always spent less time listening to my concerns than my dog's vet does when I take my dog in. As soon as you mention what it is that you are having, he writes down a prescription for you, whether you need it or not, and he is out the door. In the course of a few years I managed to collect two huge boxes of prescription, and many of them I never took, as symptoms went away by the time I got the medication. His job is to give their patients a prescription whether you need it or not because he doesn't want to take the extra time to see if the medication is really necessary. In addition, he doesn't even give you a chance to talk. His practice is just a money-making machine. He allocates a few minutes to each patients so that he can see as many people a day as he can possible see. I've spent over two hours at the reception waiting to be called. On top of it he is an extremely rude guy. Stay away from him!
