I was very displeased when I realized how quickly they recommended surgery; day one. Few other options were even presented to me and they were quite pushy about never being wrong with their diagnosis. They were too confident and did not really want to listen to anything I had to say. Everything they originally told me they would be able to do for me, they ended up not being able to do. Through a year of visiting doctors, I found out my problems were caused by an off label prescription medication I was being given to help with sleep and was causing serious adverse effects. I diagnosed myself by researching on the Internet. Not one of the 8 specialists I saw over the course of a year even mentioned looking into the possibiliy of it being related to medications I might be taking even though all physicians require you to list them. The minute I stopped taking the medication, my symptoms began to go away. They were completely gone after one month; without surgery!!! I discovered the problem and solved the problem. Tells you something about western medicine!!
