When I first me Doctor Guillermo Gonzalea, I though him charming and loved how he didn't speak down to me. But I realized quite quickly that there is some thing wrong with this man's memory. He has to have his nurse in with him when he is with a patient. She will correct him from time to time. One appointment he wanted to do one treatment and surgery! I told him that i'd think it over and then the next time i saw him, he didn't remember suggesting the operation. Plus he kept mixing up what type of cancer i had. If you are in pain, forget any compaction or medication, As my appearance change do to the treatment, his attitude changed with it and he started to speak down to me. I was listening to him explain about what how the treatment works when stopped in mid sentence and said "you don't understand what i'm talking about, of course you don't." I understood just fine and didn't appreciate his patronizing attitude. I ended up in the hospital more than once, fighting for my life because he over prescribed the Chemo dosage. I never had this happen with other Oncologist. So please do not only avoid this Dr. Gonzales, but tell your friends if you hear that they will be going to him. There are so many other qualified doctors in Tucson. Dr Guillermo Gonzalez, should not be practicing medicine.
