She has worked in the audiology field for 16 years and is committed to providing the latest technology and the highest standard of care to her patients. Dr. Mikal is a Board Certified Doctor of Audiology and the founder and CEO of Sound Solutions Hearing and Balance Centers. She is originally from Lakewood, CA, but spent most of her life in the small town of Boulder City, NV. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Long Beach, a Master of Arts in Communicative Disorders with an emphasis on Audiology from California State University, Long Beach, and a Doctorate in Audiology from The University of Florida.Dr. Mikal founded Sound Solutions in 2004 because she is passionate about helping others and feels that audiology is both a science and an art.
