I went to see Carol Caico on recommendation of Pete from Bellvue Pharmacy after suffering horrifically with perimenpausal symptoms for 2 years. I was at the end of my rope and sicker than I have ever been in my life, desperate for answers, compassion and understanding from this so called "perimenopause specialist" HA! I was talked down to and suggested I go to a therapist and get on an antidepressant. Pete told me this Dr. was NOT like all the rest that wanted to pat me on the head and send me on my way with a script for ADs. I was looking for bhrt suggestions, and advice on this horrible nightmarish transition that is anything but natural to a woman suffering as badly as I have been. And Im sure there are many more of us out there. When I told her I was experiencing severe atrophy and dryness she suggested I have more sex because I was too young not to be having it. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I got better advice from my hairdresser. I honestly was shocked and appalled. The only reason she even wrote the script for the hormones was because I started crying and yelling at her that Pete lied to me. She never even called me once to see how I was doing. Please do us all a favor and stop pretending you give a damn.

They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. They were very sympathetic to my situation, and made me feel cared for. I knew that I could count on them at all times. I love that I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. Other places I've visited, seem to give up after they don't have an answer for me the first time, but not here. They listened closely to everything I was telling them, and showed a lot of attention to detail. I've never had to worry about them forgetting something or not reading my information correctly, which I've encountered at other places. Their staff is very friendly and professional.
