I was referred to this Dr from my workmen's comp carrier after 18 months of receiving medical care from a Dr of my own choosing. So apparently Dr. Teasley works for "the other side", which is fine. I have no problem with that. As long as I get a correct diagnosis I don't care who I have to see.
Anyway, saw this guy in January 2009 (it's now the middle of April) and although he personally told me that he thinks my injury in really in my left shoulder and not in my neck, (even though I have 3 herniated disks in my neck), and that I should have an MRI of that shoulder, we can not get a referral for his recommendation. We can not even get a copy of his exam of me or any of his recommendations. I've been told by my Dr that Teasleys office does not even have a fax machine and is unable to fax any reports to my Dr or attorney.
So in the meanwhile, here I sit, waiting to get authorization for something, anything, anything that can help eliminate the pain in my neck and upper extremities, not to mention, down my right leg. His tactics appear to me to be "stall" tactics and that he along with State Farm Insurance are intentionally "stalling" my medical care. By the way, he will not ever return your phone call or give you an address where he can be reached at.
Sept will be 2 years since my injury and I have nothing good to say about the workmen's comp system of treatment.
