Love Dr Drude, respect and trust his work. He has treated my family and me for years. That being said, his office staff has caused me to look for another gastroenterologist. They are unconcerned about the patient's needs and it is hard to get the nurse to help with treatment when Dr Drude is not present. I was scheduled for a Colonoscopy‎ and after going through the prep when I got up at 4:00 am and drove 40 miles for a 6:00 am appointment at St Tammany Hospital the receptionist told me that the doctor would not be there. When I spoke to Rosalie and Ashley at his office Rosalie said it was Ashley's fault. Ashley said she didn't call because it was long distance, and that the hospital should have called me, and that she sent a letter in the mail. As of today I have NOT received a letter. I cannot trust my health to these incompetent and uncaring women any more. I will look for another GI doctor tomorrow.

An incredibly knowledgeable physician with wonderful relationships w/ his patients. His caring and concern is very evident and is conveyed easily, which makes them feel at ease, knowing they went to the right doctor. He spends the extra time necessary to see to all of their needs and is *not* a run-in/run-out physician, attempting to see more patients in a shorter amount of time. He is excellent in his field! I was in awe at the level of service I received. They completely surpassed all my expectations and I will absolutely be going back. They are completely committed to helping me as long as it takes to find the best solution. I never have to worry that they'll back out or give up if a solution isn't reached immediately, which has been a problem for me at other places. Overall, he is excellent in his field and you won't go wrong in choosing him!
