While Dr. Kravitz and his office staff provided satisfactory client service up to my hernia operation, my satisfaction with the doctor stopped after my surgery. He had provided me with written instructions to call his office on a specific day after my surgery. I did so, but he was unavailable to talk on that day, nor the next day when I called back. I left messages on both days. I reside in another country and had provided my international phone number to return my call. In a series of email and voicemail messages over a 2-3 period I indicated I would be happy to call him if he would provide me with a convenient time to talk. I also said I would be happy to talk with his assistant. I received only two email responses from Dr. Kravitz. In one response he asked for an update on my hernia operation. I indicated in several messages that I was in pain and discomfort. In another email he responded that he had a complication in calling me even though I had previously indicated I could call him. Those were the only times Dr. Kravitz responded to my efforts to reach him. I strongly believe Dr. Kravitz was negligent in not making a more concerted effort to talk with me directly via phone call or email.

Pleasant personality. Late for appointments and actual operation. Operation successful but recovery time much longer than expected.
