Oral and maxillofacial surgeons are required to take four to six additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Montazem manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Montazem practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery to wisdom tooth removal . These available services also include techniques designed to rebuild lost bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. We also diagnose and treat facial pain , facial injuries , and fractures.

Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation or outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.

I had to recently have a WISDOM TOOTH removed. (3/28/18) I was a little anxious at the time since I haven't had a tooth removed in many years. Dr. Montazem was highly recommended by my personal dentist but I still wasn't sure what to expect. His staff were friendly, experienced, and professional. I had to use anesthesia which turned out to be my best option. It went very, very well. I was advised in advance of the effects and what to expect with the removal of the tooth. Dr. Montazem was fantastic. He was friendly, professional, and had personality to be jealous of. What I was advised to expect was spot on. I was scheduled for a follow up within a very reasonabe time. All I could say is that if you are looking for a professional to allay your fears of dentists: he's your guy.
