Has no idea what he is doing based on my experience. He said that my loss of vision in my right eye was do to scar tissue and that my upper eyelids needed to have skin removed. I asked why. He said that is where the most light comes from! Duh!!!! I guess he meant the sun. With that I canceled all future visits and went to a real Ophthalmologist who found that there was an accumulation of blood behind the retina that was distorting the shape thus the loss of clear vision. Easily corrected.
MY EXPERIENCE SAYS TO NOT GO TO THIS GUY IF YOU WANT THE CORRECT DIAGNOSIS AND WANT TO AVOID UNNECESSARY EXPENSE.

"Doctor" Cartwright has the temperament of a spoiled 3 year old girl. Don't even bother wasting your time asking questions, even when the "doctor" asks you if you have any questions. The result will be a snide, immature comment from the doctor and he will walk out of the room. The office is dirty. The staff is incompetent. The parking is nearly non-existent. Appointments are canceled with NO notice. They even tried to charge us a missed appointment fee after THEY canceled an appt and we had actually showed up because we were never notified. The doctor runs in and out of your examination. You will spend less than 10 minutes with him after typically waiting well over an hour to see him. We believe the "doctor" also made many, many, more appts than necessary to collect insurance money. 9 visits in 5 months!? Not including the cancellations. Stay away! Stay away!
