Abilene Wellness and Weight Management Center is was started by two Abilene physicians in an effort to try and prevent the disability caused by obesity using guidelines from the American Society of Sports Medicine. We specialize in offering our patients nutritional and fitness instruction and require personal accountability by weekly weigh ins. We do not utilize fad diets or gimmicks. We are also affiliated with BariatricSolutions, bariatric surgical program, from the metroplex. Our patients pay one fee per month and recieve 4 weekly visits with our full time personal trainer and one visit with your physician. We stress overall wellness. We want all individuals to understand that no matter what your weight is, you should be as physically fit as you can be due to the health benefits associated with exercise . Exercise and proper nutrition are the best medicine.We also help individual with smoking cessation and are available to help people who do not have a weight problem but want to be as fit and well as possible.
