I would completely avoid Dr Arano. His practice is extremely unprofessional; I do not know if they are dishonest or incompetent, but the result is the same. They show no respect or consideration for clients, best displayed by their telling me they did not accept Blue Cross/Blue shield less than twenty four hours before my appointment. This was an appointment I had made three months in advance (when they confirmed they take Blue Cross/Blue Shield). Do not waste your time with this doctor and his staff. You will be treated poorly by even the most basic standards of human courtesy and respect.

I wanted to see Dr. Arano because I was interested in finding a local doctor. I called on March 10, 2016 and was told the earliest I could get in was June 7, 2016. We went over insurance and the office person Vianney said everything was set.

On June 6, the same person called to confirm my appointment. She instructed me to "bring in my pill bottles". I told her I would provide a list of medications. She came back, "No, the doctor likes to see the bottles". For what? So he could see the prescribing doctors or pharmacies? This seemed odd.

Then later on June 6, the office person called again and asked what insurance I had (the same question from March). When I told her Blue Cross/Blue Shield, she said, "Oh I don't know what you told me in March, but we do not accept that insurance". My insurance had not changed since March, and my booking an appointment three months in advance was of course dependent on my insurance being accepted. To tell me this after three months, and less than twenty four hours before my appointment, was extremely unprofessional and showed no respect for me as a client, or for my efforts to seek quality medical care. These people could not show more disregard for my needs or concerns, and violated basic principles of courtesy and competence from someone who calls themselves a professional.
