They never left me for an extended period of time and I never felt ignored. The reception area was comfortable and they had a good selection of magazines.It was obvious that they took pride in the office's appearance. Let them know if you do not have insurance, they will work with you on pricing. Dr. Barrus is always patient and spends as much time as we need to cover everything. He always answers every question I have. He also listens! and he definitely takes what I say into consideration. They office staff have always been patient, and polite, and interested in me

Dr Barrus is a good family doctor. A bit forgetful from visit to visit, you might have to remind him of your history, but otherwise he seems to know his stuff. Now regarding the office staff, Joyce (Dr. Barrus assistant) is simply rude, unprofessional and not at all willing to help you out. She picks up the phone sporadically, frequently hangs up on calling patient and often seems to be on a power trip. Good luck with her!!
