I had extreme extreme bad lifetime experience with Dr Watkins. In july, 2011 I had seen him fr my PPD result which came positive. I went to see a family Physician. He prescribed me INH(strongest possible drug) fr 3 months(daily one) with 25 mg Vitamin B6. He very briefly told that this medicine may damage liver,so we need to take ur blood fr blood test. The nurse(seemed smart in wrong sense and rude) took blood and I came home. He told me nt to skip medicine a single day. I came home and stared INH. After 3/4 days I felt somebody pushing me out of balance, nt able to wake up before 12 noon which is unusal. I increased 50mg of Vit B6. And called his office , left msg.(5/6 times). Finally after 6 times the nurse picked up call and told doctor is out of town. She ws worried abt my conditionthough she is nurse. Again next day I called.noone answered. on seventh day, my cond detoriated vey much, nt abt to talk(tongue rolling up), left side of brain numb, again I called nd left msg. Then 4th july, morning the office manager called me. then another doctor called and told to go to emergency immediately. The emergency immediately recognized it as side effect of INH. I told him the Dr Watkins ddint discuss at all these side effects. He said he doesnt know. Emergency doctor immediately stopped the medicine. I am paying the amount fr emergency visit, huge amount. If anyone in my lace, he./she would sue this doctor. He never bothered to talk to me, never he talked. Such a callous doctor . I work as medical interpreter and have seen so good doctors. We pay high fr doctors visit and in return this I got. He should be banned from medical practice, extremely careless doctor. the young nurse was very rude. I would probably die that day if I would take INH dose on Sunday. My intuiton told me not to take.
