They were so kind and attentive to me. I was seen on the 4th of July weekend by Dr Mende. I woke up with a very bad headache and couldn't see. I live 3 minutes from the Midtown office and she was there when I arrived. I had a Glaucoma attack and my pressure was very high, I was vomitting and and she took care of me to the fullest extent. Staff that where in the area also stopped by when they seen cars there and these ladies jumped in and helped Dr Mende get my pressure down. Dr Mende made a call to the opthamologist on call, because I had to have an emergency lazer surgery.My surgery was done immediately that day. Dr Mende called me at home to check on me personally. Dr Mende makes you feel like a family member, not just a patient. I'm so very happy that she's my Dr., Roane County is very blessed to have her. I was later told that had my pressure stayed at 76 I could've lost my vision and the pressure being that high was the equal to that of the pain of a heart attack. I wish more MD's where like Dr. Mende. I'm very thankful for the help she gave me and all she has done and continues to do for me.

The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. They are always polite and never use foul language, which I really appreciate. It's always made me uncomfortable at other places when I've heard them use foul language, but they don't here. I know I can bring my kids, and not worry about it. I was shocked when they dismissed my concerns as unimportant and told me I was just overreacting. I knew that my situation needed attention, and I couldn't believe that they wouldn't even look into it. I don't think they were very experienced or well-trained. They didn't know what they were doing at all. I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else.
