The guy came into the office, and was looking at his watch for God's sakes. i have had an itchy scalph issue for years. He did not even look at my scalph with a terrible attitude problem and made assumptions about everything. He later prescribed a shampoo that did not help. I late found out that I needed a combination of shampoo and pills in order to cure my itchy scalph problem....smh. Waste of 3 minutes and copayment. PLEASE DO NOT GO GUYS!

I had an enlarged lymph node which my doctor recommended I see a dermatologist. I went to see Dr Desilva but all he did was touch my lymph node and said they had to refer me to a surgeon because it was too deep. Literally, the "initial consultation" was less than 2 mins, and I wasn’t even seated when he checked the lymph node.
I paid $40 co-pay with my insurance. I was sent to another specialist and they took the time to accommodate me.
The friendly surgeon said that Dr Desilva could’ve done the same extraction and sent in a lab test, but they didn’t. So I paid for the surgeon’s services, partially covered by my insurance.
A medical bill from Dr DeSilva came in a year later, saying I had to pay in full. The "initial consultation" that was less than 2 mins cost me $200, which my insurance denied to pay as it was "deductible taken"
I called their office and they stated that it was "professional advice" to refer me to another doctor. The friendly staff talked with the doctor, so all they could do is give me 50% discount.
I honestly wanted a reimbursement for my time wasted in the office when I could’ve gone to a surgeon directly.
